  • No, the selection of the Atelier is the result of scouting conducted throughout the year by Cinéfondation (until 31st October, after which date projects are no longer considered).

  • It must be a feature film project for the cinema. The project must be backed by a producer and at least 20% of the funding must be met.

  • No, the Atelier is a Cinéfondation programme in which 15 directors are invited each year to the Festival de Cannes to present their feature film project. The objective of the Atelier is to help these filmmakers raise additional funds to complete their films.
