    Free admission

    Open-air screenings at the Cinéma de la Plage are open to all.

     
    Professional badge-holders

    On presentation of your professional badge you will be admitted to screenings of movies in the Official Selection held in the Debussy, Buñuel, Bazin, Soixantième, Olympia theatres, within the limit of available places.
    Your badge also affords access to the Cannes Short Films viewing areas.

    Marches

    Invitations

    An invitation is required to attend screenings in the Grand Théâtre Lumière and at 8:30am in the Debussy Theatre. Invitations are strictly personal and are not transferable. Accepting an invitation implies that you agree to be photographed and/or filmed.

    Two Gala screenings are held every evening in the Grand Théâtre Lumière. Invitees should bring their badges and attend at the correct time and place in front of the Red Carpet Steps as shown on their invitation. 
    Black tie/evening dress is required for gala screenings. For all other screenings appropriate smart dress is sufficient.Invitations are strictly personal and may not under any circumstances be sold to a third party. Any infringement of this rule may incur legal action.

     

    Last-Minute Access:
    Depending on the number of places still available, badge-holders who were unable to obtain an invitation may attend all screenings in the Grand Théâtre Lumière and at 8:30 in the Salle Debussy, Every year, 3,000 people benefit from the Last-Minute Access.

     

    Withdrawing invitations
    To receive Invitations to screenings in the Grand Théâtre Lumière and at 8:30 in the Salle Debussy, please refer to the reverse side of the personalised welcome sheet you were given along with your badge. Your requests will be filled in so far as possible, but please note that we receive many more requests than the number of available invitations.


     

    Returning invitations
    Every invitation received must be used: If you cannot attend, you MUST return the invitation to the counter that issued it or to the central ticket counter in the Hall Méditerranée.
    Failure to comply may result in restrictions being placed on the number of invitations issued to you. 

     

    Invitations must be returned:

    • by 12:00 non on the day of the screening: for screenings at 7:30 pm, 10:30 pm and midnight
    • by 4:00 pm the day before the screening: for screenings at 8:30 am, 11:30 am, 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm

    Festival Theatres

    The Grand Théâtre Lumière

    Presents the feature films of the Official Selection in Competition, Out of Competition and the Midnight Screenings.
    Admission: via the Red Carpet Steps, on invitation or with a badge via the last-minute access.
    Priority access for the press, on presentation of your badge for the 8:30 screenings. 

    Debussy Theatre

    The Debussy Theatre

    Presents the feature films in Competition at 8:30, the Selection for Un Certain Regard, Short Films in Competition and the Masterclasses.
    Admission: via the Debussy Steps, on presentation of your badge.

    The Buñuel Theatre

    Presents the Cannes Classics programme, the Cinéfondation Selection, the Masterclasses.
    Admission: via the main entrance of the Palais F+5, on presentation of your badge.

    Soixantième Theatre

    The Soixantième Theatre

    Presents feature films In Competition, Out of Competition, Cannes Classics and Special Screenings.
    Admission: Roof of the Riviera (via the Forecourt on the sea side) on presentation of your badge.

    Bazin Theatre

    The Bazin Theatre

    Presents Un Certain Regard Day-After screenings and press screenings.
    Admission: via the main entrance of the Palais F+3, on presentation of your Press badge or any other badge for Day-After screenings.

    The Cinéma de la Plage

    Offers open-air screenings each evening from 9:30 pm.
    Admission: open to all depending on the number of available places, Macé Beach.

    Marché du Film theatres

    The Marché du Film screening rooms are located in the Palais, in the Riviera and in the city of Cannes.
    Admission: on presentation of the Marché du Film badge or invitation (or Press badge, if authorised).
