Michelangelo Frammartino (Milano, 1968).
After graduating from the Scuola del Cinema in Milan he was the planner and editor of several video installations shown in Italy and abroad (Presenze s-connesse, 1995; La casa delle Belle Addormentate, 1997; Film, 1998).
At the same time he directed several short and medium-length films, among which Bibim, co-directed with Cafi Mohamud, 1999; Scappa Valentina, 2000; Io non posso entrare, 2002, winner of "Concorso 150" at the Bellaria film festival.
In 2002 he made Il Dono, his first feature film, multi-prizewinner in world festivals and winner at Locarno, Annecy, Belfort, Tiburón and Salonika.
